Walking daily the path of individualized Christhood by holding the hands of the Ascended Masters, we learn to keep the flame of divine love on behalf of others who are searching everywhere for Truth but know not where to go. We learn to embody the principles of the Bodhisattvas: to nurture others until they are able to do so on their own. As guardians and watchmen on the wall of life, we recognize it is our duty to stay one-pointed, keep our eyes focused on our divine mission, and pray perpetually for divine intercession in all personal and planetary situations during this last year of the Dark Cycle, which began on April 23, 2001.

Therefore, when we hear the cry,"Watchman, what of the night?" let our answer be: "All is well! All is well! All is well! For God is whole and I am whole. And in that perfect harmony, I take the rod of power, the scepter of authority, and mark upon the sand the circle of our oneness. And I declare, They shall not pass! They shall not enter here! Nay, they shall not defile the virgin consciousness of immaculate wisdom. I am the watchman on the wall of life." -Quietly Comes the Buddha (Summit University Press, 1998), page 78.

Yes, as the karma of 25,800 years continues to descend during the final year of the 12-year Dark Cycle, we, as watchmen, have the choice to make our heartfelt calls to God to release the violet fire abundantly from our individualized I AM Presence to literally burn up the karma that seeks to block the flow of God's energies at personal, local, national and global levels.

Consider the words of Lord Maitreya: "The Dark Cycle is not the only cycle released! There is always the Light Cycle in each year. The original momentum of attainment of all evolutions of this planetary body under the hierarchy of Capricorn, out of the Great Causal Body of the Great Divine Director, can be invoked by you daily as the antidote to the daily return of mankind's karma. Use it! There are millions of cosmic beings who have won, who have graduated from this system of worlds. All of their God/Good, all of their light, is accessible! Therefore, the key in the arch is the call. Without the call, you enter into the spirals of the shrinking-man syndrome of which the Great Divine Director has spoken. If you do not expand hour by hour, you shrink. I wink as I say this! And I trust that in the wink you will not be shorter than you were before." -Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 24/26, June 28, 1981.

How does the violet flame accomplish the task of restoring harmony to all life? Known to mystics and alchemists throughout the ages, the violet flame is the transforming aspect of God's sacred fire. The Bible says, "Our God is a consuming fire." The Ascended Master Saint Germain is the adept who shows us how to use this fire to free ourselves and the world from the energies of the dark cycle of our returning karma. Using the science of the spoken Word, we can direct the violet flame into all sorts of socio-economic, political and other global conditions, however small or large, that seem to be out of alignment, and then witness the majesty of the violet flame dissolving all imperfections and restoring God's beauty once again.

Many people who have used the violet flame have experienced the bliss known to the mystics, if only for moments at a time. Here is a simple violet flame mantra:

For example, during the 1997 New Year's Conference, "A World Vigil for Youth," Saint Germain expressed his appreciation and enthusiasm for the devotees of the violet flame. He said, "Omri-Tas has spoken to me in these past days. He has told me that he is working with all the members of the Violet Planet, the hierarch thereof, and many legions of light and the populace itself and they are of one mind, beloved. Those beings of the Violet Planet are determined to come to earth and help you. They must have a manifestation that is met. It is a manifestation and an approval by the Karmic Board and the Great Solar Logoi that they may come to the earth because those in the earth have first given that violet flame and laid a violet flame carpet for Omri-Tas, so that he may come to earth more frequently than only once or twice a month."

Sometimes, it is easy to take for granted the miraculous trans-forming powers of the violet flame and not realize what a gift it is that Saint Germain has given to us. Let us ponder the words of someone who did not realize while in embodiment the value of the violet flame mantras: "As you know, I did not understand the violet flame while I was in embodiment. This is one of my greatest regrets as I look back on my life. The violet flame is perhaps the greatest dispensation that you have been given, yet many take it for granted." -A Special Dispensation from the Darjeeling Council of the Great White Brotherhood, No. 2 (The Summit Lighthouse, 1996).

This one emphasizes the importance of assimilating the violet flame into our daily interactions as we enter the Aquarian Age. He adds, "The violet flame is the foundation for the New Age. We will enter this age successfully only to the degree that we comprehend and utilize this flame…Any condition that troubles a person, whether it be political, financial, medical or psychological, will always benefit when we hurl violet-flame spheres into its cause and core…The violet flame is the elixir of this age. It can be used to heal damage to the environment and to clean the water supply…The gifts of the Holy Spirit are tied to this flame. If you have an illness, the violet flame can reverse the entire condition, unless the illness is a karmic necessity for your spiritual evolution. -Ibid.

In a recent dictation given on July 4, 1998 at the Royal Teton Ranch, Saint Germain commended his devotees for giving the violet flame decrees and implored them to continue saturating the earth with the violet flame. He said, "Beloved hearts, make a list of the situations in the earth that must be dealt with--especially those of the children, the youth, the homeless, those who are on drugs, some of whom will not recover, for they have taken too much of that substance. Thus, beloved, time is the factor here. Time is indeed the factor." -Pearls of Wisdom, Vol. 41/29, July 19, 1998.

As we embrace the violet flame culture in our daily lives more closely than ever before, we begin to recognize the true meaning of internalizing the violet flame (which is understood only when we actually become one with it, as a living violet flame). With the ever-increasing passion for the violet flame growing in our hearts, we know this seventh-ray action of the Holy Spirit, brought to us by Saint Germain, is indeed the number one antidote to dense energies and that it will restore us once again to our original divine design.
